Your class and the Santa Peaceflight
Five minutes a day of peace education with the Peace Game, your class shining together on the World Peace Map, and Christmas messages that travel with gifts to children in a war zone.
Start with the Peace Game, five minutes a day
One short question a day about getting along, at home, at school and in the world. Show it on the board, read it aloud, talk about it and type the class's answer. Then see what happens next, and what the rest of the world chose.

This Christmas, Santa flies to Kyiv
Peace 2000, founded in Iceland in 1995, has flown Santa with gifts into besieged Sarajevo and, on Christmas Eve 1997, into Baghdad. This Christmas the Santa Peaceflight brings a message of peace, with gifts, to children suffering from the war. Each gift carries a personal message from a child, and your class can write them.
How it works
Five minutes at the start of the day: today's question on the board, a short talk, one answer from the class.
With their parents, children light a light with your class code and play the question again at home. Your class shines together on the World Peace Map.
Each child writes a few warm lines, signed with their first name and your school. Every message is printed on a card and travels with a gift.
Nothing. Taking part is free for your school: the Peace Game, your class on the map and the messages. The gifts the messages travel with are paid for by families and companies, and a local company can sponsor your class's gifts.
